St Stephens Day Run

Well a very poor show only myself and Macker braved the cold. 7 miles from the marine hotel to the summit and back down via howth village. We had our Santa hats on to keep us warm. Thanks to Kev who came out to support us. 7 miles in 54minutes(nice and easy!!!)

Only two brave the cold

Kev and myself completed a cold, aggresive and sore 35 min 5 miler. With a one minute stop included when kev found a tree in his shoe! Celebratory beers for Leinster match followed.

- Poor Sophie was ill though :(

CAC represented at European Cross-county championships

Myself and Folster represented the club at the European x-country championships on Sunday. A brilliantly muddy and cold occasion! The meeting from the night before was eventful also.

My first 5 miler. Well, sort of.

Myself and Macker did 2 laps of the castle this morning. Lovely day and perfect conditions. Delighted to complete the 2 laps which I'm told is 5 miles although Nike plus say otherwise.

This one was about distance.

Right, I've been a lazy bastard all week and haven't been out since last saturday. So I decided this one needs to be longer to make up for it. I also wanted to try and go that little bit further without stopping.

Results below.
